Selection Criteria
It is compulsory for the medical candidates to appear for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) after 10+2 who wish to get MBBS admission. Admission to the College is based on NEET scores and the seats are offered through counselling based on the eligibility score, preference of college and seats are available.
How to apply?
The scholarship recognises the talent of the students. The students may apply for the scholarship at the beginning of the academic year. The college may give scholarships for deserving candidates under the following categories.
Hostel – They give accommodation for both boys and girls. There are 100 rooms available in the hostel. 24 hours hot water supply is there with fully furnished rooms.
Hospital – There are 1000 beds in the hospital out of which 500 are in the general category and meet the requirements. The rest of the bed belongs to the private, semi private and unitary wards of super speciality departments.
Library – The central library of the College is stuffed with all recent editions of textbooks and reference books. The library subscribed to several Indian and international journals and has an online connection to the internet. In addition to those journals, 32 foreign journals are available.
Sports – MOSC medical college has indoor and outdoor games. An attractive playground is there for both indoor and outdoor games inside the campus. This institute also has a gymnasium for the physical fitness of the students.
Lecturer hall – There are 3 gallery types and one level type lecture theater in this college. These lecture halls are with audio visual facility and E class facility and fully air conditioned.
The faculties are well educated and highly experienced in such a particular field. They are skilled professionals in hospitals and do the teaching in the institution. Some of the faculties are PhD and most of them are degree holders.

Ques. What are the basic eligibility and selection criteria at MOSC?
Ans. The candidates applying for the College need to have passed 10+2 from science stream with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. The basic selection criteria for students is to qualify the NEET exam.

Ans. MOSC medical college is located at kolenchery near Kochi in the state of Kerala. To reach the college it takes 50 minutes by bus via NH 85. From the railway station it takes 20 minutes to get to the college. It is coming around 30 Kms from the Kochi airport.

Ans. According to official notification given by the NTA, a candidate can appear for NEET many times. There are no limitations to attend the NEET. Suppose, if a candidate does not score as they wish they can reappear for the next year.
