Course 1: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

• Duration – 5 Years 6 months
• Eligibility: The candidate must have completed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate (40% in case of reserved category) with the combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects. 
• Selection Criteria- Selection is based on the performance of candidates in NEET-UG followed by Counselling

Course 2: Doctorate of Medicine (MD)

• Specializations – Anatomy, Physiology
• Duration – 3 Years
• Eligibility: The candidates must have completed their MBBS from a recognized medical college by MCI.
• Selection Criteria: A candidate must have scored a valid score in NEET-PG.

VIMS Nalanda Admission

The admissions to this institute are through competitive examination. For MBBS admission students have to qualify NEET-UG and for MD admission students need to qualify NEET-PG. Selection will be based on his/her performance in the entrance tests.

• Take the print copy of the form. 

Note: After qualifying the NEET exam, a candidate has to apply for admission to the college. 

VIMS Nalanda Facilities

Hostel: It offers hostels for girls, boys, interns, and nursing students. Accommodation for 360 boys and 360 girls is there respectively. Each hostel provides 24 hours electricity and water supply and also has a provision for geysers in washrooms.

LT Rooms: Well-infrastructure lecture theatres are available for each batch with a capacity of 150. All LT Rooms have modern projector systems for giving good audio-visual classes and notes.

Labs: Well-equipped labs are there with a variety of lab instruments. Labs are spacious for an entire batch with continuous water and electricity supply

Library: The library has different sections. Each section consists of a wide range of books on various subjects of medical sciences. There are also Medical and paramedical journals and magazines.

VIMS Pawapuri MBBS Admission 2023

The MBBS program is the only course provided by the institute. The college focuses more on the quality of the program. The institute holds an intake of 120 students per year in the MBBS program.

VIMS Pawapuri MBBS Eligibility Criteria

• For applying to admission in VIMS Pawapuri, the candidate must have qualified 10+2 exams with at least 50% aggregate with the combination of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English as compulsory subjects. 
• In the case of the Reserved Category, the minimum marks will be 40% aggregate.
• Candidates should have appeared in the National Eligibility Entrance Test - NEET.
• Candidates must follow the Eligibility Criteria provided by NTA. 
• Competitive Entrance Exams are acceptable for admission. 
• In terms of age eligibility, a candidate must attain the age of at least 17 years as on 31.12.2019. 

Selection Criteria 

The selection of an applicant will occur based on his/her performance on NEET-UG. Counseling sessions will be conducted after the examination.
