CHARUSAT Anand offers a Ph.D. degree in 19 specializations at the Doctoral level. Minimum Eligibility to apply is a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates who have qualified GATE/ CSIR – UGC JRF/ NET/ SLET or equivalent exams of a similar level or CHARUSAT Doctoral Entrance Test (CDET).

The admission shall be granted on the basis of merit list prepared by taking into account sixty percentage weight age of marks in theory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics of all four semesters examination of Std. XI and Std XII Science conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board in March and 40% weight age of percentile marks of GUJCET examination.
To be eligible in B.tech a candidate should have done 10+2 or HSC by securing minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Math and for others 50% aggregate in HSC from Science stream is required

Admission in BCA/BBA course is done on the basis of merit list prepared according to the marks obtained by the applicants. Candidates who have done 12th with English (preferably) as a subject are eligible to apply. For Dual Degree course 12th should be done in Science stream.
Admissions to MBA/MCA are provided by merit list prepared according to the marks scored by the applicants in CMAT entrance examination. Applicants having 50% marks in respective Bachelor degree are eligible.

For MBA/MCA admission is done through CMAT - Common Management Test conducted by AICTE, New Delhi. Applicants have to fill online Application form by accessing official website . Registration fees for a General male candidate are 1400/- and for females and SC/ST is 700/- is to be paid through SBI Challan/ Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking.
CMAT is a 3-hour Computer Based Test. The candidates are tested on various segments i.e. Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness and Language Comprehension.

In M.Tech course, a candidate will be admitted on the basis of his performance in PGCET/GATE( whichever is applicable).
Admissions in M.Pharma are done on the basis of GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test).
For MPT admissions are done on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of performance of candidates in qualifying examination.
To be eligible for the M.Tech course a candidate shall have passed B.E./B.tech. Or equivalent examination with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/SEBC candidates) marks.
Graduates in Pharmacy or final year students of (10+2 lateral Entry) course whose results will be out before admission are eligible for GPAT.
For MPT admissions candidate should be a graduate in BPT.
For application process in M.Tech. Before applying online, the candidate shall have to procure PIN Cover by paying Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) per discipline in cash only from the designated branches of Dena Bank.
After online registration, it is mandatory for all candidates to submit a printout of the registration form and self-attested photocopies of the required documents at nearby Help Centre and get Acknowledgement slip cum Hall Ticket for PGCET. All the candidate shall have to bring this Acknowledgement slip Cum Hall Ticket for PGCET at the time of test else he shall not be allowed to appear in the test.
Both GATE qualified candidates and Non GATE candidates shall have to register online. However, GATE qualified candidates have not to appear in PGCET .After admitting GATE qualified candidates having valid GATE qualifying score, the vacant seats, if any will be filled as per merit secured in PGCET.

Admissions in the Ph.D. course is done on the basis of CDET and interview. In Post Doctoral fellowship admission is done on the basis of candidate’s credentials and interview. For Ph.D. admissions candidates with postgraduate (Masters) degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA are eligible.
In Post Doctoral fellowship The minimum qualifications are Doctorate (Ph.D./MD) or equivalent degree.
For Ph.D. admission procedure is carried out twice in a year in June and December.
In Post-Doctoral fellowship, Upon advertisement by CHARUSAT, Candidate can submit their application on plain paper along with updated resume, list of publications, full length articles of two important papers, copies of certificate (B. Sc, M. Sc, PhD/ M. D/ B. Tech, M. Tech/ B.C.A, MCA/ B.B.A, MBA/ B.Pharma, M.Pharma), Two letters of recommendation (academic) etc. The candidate has to submit one or two-page synopsis of proposed research.
The consolidated emoluments shall be given to a fellow while working in CHARUSAT is Rs. 25000/- per month. In addition to that, 10% HRA shall be given to the fellow.

Ans. CHARUSAT University follows the semester pattern for its academic curriculum, which is further bifurcated into odd and even semester pattern. The end-semester examinations are usually conducted in the month of December and June for odd and even semesters, respectively. The end-semester examination results for all streams are announced on the university website within a month’s time after the completion of end-semester examinations.
