About IET DAVV Indore

A self-financing institution, started by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 1996. IET DAVV Indore offers programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The B.E. programme of IET DAVV Indore has been offered by the institution since its inception. However, the M.E programmes began in 2002 and IET DAVV Indore started its M.Sc programme in the year 2006. IET DAVV Indore also offers Ph.D programme as well to its students. For admission in B.E. programme, candidates need to have JEE-Mains score and after that candidates are also required to appear in the counselling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Bhopal. The counselling will be conducted through Counselling Authorities and its Nodal Centre in MP. For admission in the M.E programme, candidates will need to appear in the GATE Examination. IET DAVV Indore offers some scholarships to its students on need plus merit basis. IET DAVV Indore, on the basis of students performance in IIT-JEE Mains examination, release its cutoffs, post which students are required to appear in counselling to secure admission. IET DAVV Indore provides exemplary placement opportunities to its students and has a number of facilities available on the campus for faculties, staff members and students.

Devi Ahilaya Vishwavidyalaya has a Centralised Placement Cell, from where all the placement and internship related activities takes place. Institute of Engineering and Technology Indore is a part of this centralised placement cell. Every year a large number of reputed companies visit the campus to hire students of different domains. Students take different responsibilities in the organisations. The Centralised Placement Cell of IET DAVV Indore invites companies on the campus for pre placement talk, thereafter the cell conducts the entire interview and group discussion (if any) process and finally, students of IET DAVV Indore are placed in their dream companies.

The placement process of IET DAVV Indore includes the following steps:

• The candidates are first required to appear in the Pre Placement Talks.

• The candidates who are interested in the job profile are then required to sit in the Online/ Written Assessment Test. 

• The further rounds of the selection process includes Group Discussion, Technical Interview, Managerial Interview and HR Round.

• The best candidates are then shortlisted and are provided with an offer letter.    

The online/written assessment includes an aptitude test and technical round.

IET DAVV Indore Placement- Batch Wise

According to the data, released by NIRF for the engineering domain of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, the placement statistics of 2022 has outshine the placement of its own previous year statistics. According to the NIRF report, the median package for the four years UG programmes of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya stood at Rs. 6,20,000 for 2021-22 batch students while it was only Rs. 5,10,000 for the 2020-21 batch. For the academic year 2021-22, a total of 412 students got placement while on another hand 79 students opted for higher studies. similarly, for 2 years PG programmes offered at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya,    

A total of 294 students of engineering domain from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya got placed in various companies while 62 students opted for higher studies. The median package for the batch of 2021-22 stood at Rs. 4,84,000 while it wasRs. 4,64,000 for the batch of 2020-21.

According to the placement data as per the official placement brochure of IET DAVV Indore, for the year 2022-23, till now 45 companies have been on campus and have made around 753 offers to the students of IET DAVV Indore. Out of these total offers made to the students, 434 are the unique offers. The maximum CTC offered is Rs.28 LPA while the average CTC is 7.29 LPA.
