School of Distance Learning of Jagan Nath University, JIMS Group has been established in 2010 by Distance Education Council. The university promotes quality education to all who are not able to pursue higher conventional method of education due to some reasons. It is affiliated to Jagan Nath University which is an ISO 9001-2015 Certified Institution.

The objective of Distance education is to acquire knowledge to produce energetic, effective efficient and ethically driven students to serve society. The Distance learning is an alternative to regular courses for those who are unable to pursue education due to many reasons. The mode of teaching in Distance learning is primarily via the internet and offer new teaching methodologies specially designed course materials by the specialists from various universities and industries and tailored means of delivery. Thus students can learn from anywhere all around the country.

Eligibility: Candidate must have completed 12th from any recognized board or institution.

Postgraduate Programs

Only 3 PG courses are available in Jagannath University Distance Education. These are:

• MBA
• MCA
• PGDCA

Eligibility: Candidate must have completed Graduation degree from any recognized university.

Undergraduate Courses

1. BBA, B.Voc, B.Planning, BCA, B.Arch, BA-LLB / BBA-LLB, B.Com
   Eligibility- The candidate should have passed 12th standard from a recognized board.

• For courses like B.A.(Journalism and Mass Communication) BCA, BBA, B.Com. and B.Sc. selection will be based on the performance in JUEE.
• For B.Plan course, passing JUEE or NATA is mandatory.

1. B.Tech, B.Sc., BNYS, BA (AB- Psychology), BPT
   Eligibility- The candidate should have passed 12th standard in the science stream from a recognized board.

• For B.Tech program will be selected on the basis of their performance in JEE Main, RPET or JUEE.
• For BNYS program passing NEET is mandatory.

1. B.Ed Eligibility- The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.  B.Ed program requires the candidate to pass PTET Entrance.

Postgraduate Courses

Jagannath University Ph.D. program Eligibility- The candidate must hold a Master’s degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks. Selection of the candidates is based on the marks secured in JUEE and PI round.
