Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), established in 2010 in Bhopal is India’s first skill-based University and is the leading university of India’s leading higher education group, AISECT Group of Universities. RNTU Bhopal Admission
Below mentioned are the step-wise procedure of admission process followed by Rabindranath Tagore University:
Step 1: Admission Form
Students can get the form either from the University office or download it from www.rntu.ac.in. The cost of application form is INR 500.
Step 2: Completing the application form
The candidates must fill the application form with the utmost care and mention all the necessary details correctly. It is mandatory to provide an email address and mobile number for further communication. Candidates must attach self-attested copies of the mark sheet with the application form.
Step 3: Final Submission
Duly attested documents along with the application form should be sent/submitted to the following address:

Note: Application form can get rejected in the following cases:
- Incomplete forms
- Forms missing annexure, photocopies of mark sheets.
- Forms received after the last date of examination.
Step 4: Selection process
Qualifying candidates will be informed about the date, time and venue of Admission Procedure (Written Test/ Group Discussion/ Interview/ or Direct Admission) on the University’s website. In the case of direct admission, it would be purely based on the Merit basis.
A list of selected candidates will be displayed on the website after which they will be required to submit the course fee. Failing to do so can lead to cancellation of admission.
Step 5: Announcement of Admission
The University will send an email and SMS to the candidates regarding their admission status. However, this should not be taken as an official announcement of admission. Selected candidates will get intimation of their selection through an Admission Letter which will be sent through courier.

Rabindranath Tagore University Scholarships
Under the Shiksha Mitr Scholarships scheme, some scholarship programs are running within the university’s curriculum to meritorious students. Shiksha Mitra Scholarships, which has an overall grant of INR 1 crore. This scholarship takes into account the particular results of a student in their class 12th board examinations. There are many other scholarship programs as well for underprivileged students and physically handicapped students too.
Apart from this, students belonging to SC/ST/OBC communities can avail scholarships through various Government schemes. Meritorious students can also apply for the prestigious Chancellor’s Scholarships.

Rabindranath Tagore University Faculty

- Hostel: There are hostel facilities for male and female students. Students can enjoy several facilities including TV sets, carom-boards and other recreational and amusement facilities. Mess with delicious and hygenic food items is also part of the hostel.
- Health Care: The university houses a student's health care center, located within the campus, at a close distance from the academic and hostel blocks. The centre is attended by a full time Medical Superintendent and also part-time specialists in general medicine.
