VITEEE 2025 registration
Vellore Institute of Technology has released the VITEEE 2025 application form on the official website viteee.vit.ac.in. Eligible candidates must register online, fill out the application form, pay the registration fee, upload photo and signature, and downnload the complete application form for future reference. The last date for VITEEE 2025 registration is March 31, 2025.
VITEEE 2025 exam dates are from April 21 to April 27, 2025. The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. It is a computer-based test conducted at various exam centers. Appearing candidates have to answer 125 multiple choice questions divided into five sections – Mathematics/Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude.
After the exam, VITEEE 2025 result wil be released tentatively on April 30, 2025. The counselling will start in May 2025 for admission to B.Tech courses offered at various VIT campuses.
What is VITEEE?
VITEEE also known as VIT Engineering Entrance Exam is the annual entrance exam conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore for admissions to B.Tech courses. Approximately 2 lakh students fight for around 5,000 seats in VITs every year.

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2025
The candidates planning to appear for the VITEEE Vellore must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Vellore Institute of Technology.
- Nationality: The candidates planning to give the exam must be a resident or non-resident Indian National. Foreign students are also allowed to apply to the international students category.
- Educational Qualifications:
- The candidates must have scored a total of 60% marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Biology in their 10+2.
- The SC/ST candidates or the candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir and North Indian states must have an aggregate of 50% in the above-mentioned subjects.
- Students giving 10+2 exams in 2025 are also allowed to apply for the exam.
- Do remember that a certificate to prove nativity will be required at the time of counselling, the absence of which can cause you to lose admission.
- Marksheet shall also be required at the time of admission.
- Age Limit: The candidate must be born on or after 1 July 2003, to be eligible for VITEEE 2025.
Eligibility Criteria For Various B.Tech Courses
- Candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the 10+2 examination are eligible for all the B.Tech programmes.
- Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 examinations are eligible only for B.Tech Biology programmes.
- Registering for Mathematics as a bridge course is mandatory in B.Tech Bio-engineering, Biotechnology, CSE with specialisation in Bioinformatics, ECE with specialisation in Biomedical Engineering programmes.
- All the above criteria are mandatory and VITEEE ranks cannot subside any of these criteria.
VITEEE 2025 Registration
The steps for filling VITEEE 2025 Application form are helpful for the candidates to have a better understanding. There are 5 main steps towards filling out the VITEEE 2025 Application Form-
- Application Details: Personal Address, School, Passing Year etc.
- General Details: Test City Preference, Subject Preference, Other info etc.
- Payment: Submission of the fee according to category.
- Upload Photo/Signature: Uploading Photo and Signature as required.
- Download Application: Once completed, candidates can download the application for future reference.
Students can head over to the official website and fill out the application form using the steps given below-
- First, visit the official website of VITEEE i.e. viteee.vit.ac.in
- Register on the website using your Name, Mobile Number and Email address.
- An OTP is sent to your mobile number for confirmation of registration, after which an email is sent along with the password.
- Login using your Email address and Password.
- Start filling out the VITEEE 2025 Application Form – Enter Application details, General details.
- If applying for general non-bio B.Tech programmes, select ‘MPCEA: Maths/ Physics/ Chemistry/ English/ Aptitude’.
- If applying for Bio-stream B.Tech programmes, select ‘BPCEA: Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ English/ Aptitude’. Students will be required to choose Mathematics as a bridge course after joining.
- Click on Save and Next. After that, the Payment step will appear.
- Select the payment gateway from the drop-down list.
- Payment can be made using Net Banking, Credit card, Debit card, UPI or Online Wallet as well depending on the payment gateway chosen.
- Once the payment has been made, upload the passport size image and signature
- Ensure both the pictures are clear with a light background.

- Once the upload is complete, you are suggested to download a soft copy of the application form for the subsequent future.
Filling Application Form using VITEEE 2025 Mobile App
Filling the VITEEE 202 Application Form using Mobile App is much easier. It is almost like registering for a social website using email address and mobile number. - Register or Sign In on the mobile application.
- Fill in the VITEEE Application Details.
- Enter Test Centre Details.
- Submit the Application Fee for VITEEE 2025
- Upload Photo/Signature.
- Download the submitted application form for future reference.
What if you forget the Password for VITEEE Application Form?
Usually, candidates receive an email on their registered email address, with the password for VITEEE Application Form. The password provided for VITEEE Application can be retrieved from that email. In order to retrieve the password for VITEEE Application Window, follow the below steps given below:
- Firstly, go to the login page of VITEEE 2025
- Then, click on the link ‘Forgot Password?’
- After that, enter your registered email id and mobile number.
- Ensure this is the exact same data as provided at the time of registration and applying
- Now, enter security code as shown
- Click on ‘SUBMIT’.
- Finally, your password will be sent to your registered email address.
If you wish to know your VITEEE Application Number-
- Begin with logging using your email id and password on the application portal.
- Once logged in, select application form.
- Finally, your Application Number will be visible in the Application Form.
- If you have paid the application fee, you will be able to download the application form which will also have your application number.
VITEEE 2025 Application Process: Offline Mode
VIT has only released online applications for VITEEE 2025. However, the process of the offline application process is described below:
- The candidates planning to complete the registration process through offline mode can do so by getting the offline OMR application form from the designated post offices mentioned at the official website – vit.ac.in.
- Students can also obtain VITEEE OMR Application Forms from VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT AP and VIT Bhopal campuses after paying the application form fee.
- Do not buy application forms from any other sources as they all are fake.
- The duly completed application form must reach the university address through the registered post or speed post only at – “Admission Officer, VIT University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India – 632014”
Instructions on Filling the OMR-based VITEEE Application Forms
- The application form should be filled out by the candidate in his/ her own handwriting.
- Use a black ballpoint pen to write and an HB2 pencil to shade the circles.
- Also, it is suggested that the candidate make a photocopy of the form and use it for practice.
- ONLY THE ORIGINAL OMR APPLICATION FORM SHOULD BE SENT to the Institute.
- Read the instructions carefully before filling out the application form. Requests for corrections will not be accepted later on. Make sure you do not write or make any marks on the Barcode.
- Please note that your name and your date of birth should be exactly the same as given in your High school / +2 / Intermediate / Pre-University examination certificate.
- Also, note down the ten-digit application number for your future reference.

VITEEE 2025 Application Fee
- The candidates opting for offline registrations have to pay INR 1,200 as the application fee with DD drawn in favour of VIT University along with INR 50 as the fee for Demand Draft.
- While the candidates going for online registrations have to pay INR 1,150 as the application fees.
- If a candidate pays the VITEEE 2025 application fee using a mobile application, INR 1050 shall only be charged.
- For NRI candidates, the application fee is USD 50.

In case, during the online mode of payment, the account or payment mode is debited but the same does not reflect in the online application form, it is suggested that the students wait for 48 hours.
